For anyone looking to extend the built in effects VST plugins that come with the plain vanilla Cubase SX - I have been using the Kjaerhus Classic series for a few years now and can honestly say that given the price (FREE!) they are a fantastic set of tools and the CPU load is practically zero. The series all come with enough presets to get you started and dont cloud the user with too many knobs to take you away from the creative flow to get the sound you want.

I have set up a full set on FX tracks in Cubase SX3 and they mostly end up staying to the final mix. A great set that will give you that instant sparkle and keep your mind focused on creativity rather than having to inspect 25 different parameters. The graphics are simple and easy to read and the company pedigree is indisputedly first class.

A great teaser from a company who have, in their own words, "..an unusually devoted clientele ranging from personal studios to award-winning producers and engineers" I´m just waiting for the day I can buy some of their mouthwatering commercial releases - from the trials I have downloaded I´m tempted to move them up the shopping list.
